AH HAH oh my god, look at her, she's like a big peach-colored puff. . . And the blush-like markings by her eyes she is too precious.
Harland did spend some time with her, right. . . Was she a good mum? (Looking at the average parents in Rum I feel like I know the answer to that question already HAAA. . .)

He spends a very short time with her before he is captured by soldiers and taken to one of the labs where the mediatones become fascinated with his condition. She was a great mom- which is sad that he was taken from her so early. He is the product of a relationship she has with Leslie- Harland's father. He inherets most of his looks from his father, but color from his tolken mother. He is no longer a thrish/red, but rather, a tolken rex mixed with a Bricka plume Rex (reddish/ brown)
the two met when Mohtun became ensnared in a Baltic soldier trap. He finds her and saves her- she is very hateful of soldiers and really dislikes him for a while- even though he helps her. However he has a frightening condition that may sound a little familiar- he can feel emotion however- pain is amplified and he almost always feels pain. Its rather, the oppisite of what Harland feels- which is ironic, since when Harland is born, he has no ability to feel pain or emotion- it suggesting that what ever is causing it can have adverse effects on the nervous skills as well as empathy development.
Eventually Leslie takes her to the fort where he hides her for a while and the two eventually have "relationss" and she gets pregnant. eventually they become seperated before Harland is even born- and she gives birth to him and raises him for around 5 years before he is taken from her. Harland has vague memories of her- with no emotional sentiment. But he is always curious about the blonde tolken- he assumes she is his mother- but he cannot know.
And of coarse you know what becomes of Leslie- (ithink i covered that vaguely in that large decription of Marra (YEA I FINALLY NAMED THE OTHER WORLD so its less confusing hoho-cough-)

Awesome~ Aw, she sounds like a sweetie, I assumed she was a bit of a bitch but I think I had an older version of Harland's backstory clouding my judgement. . . And I really like that Harland turns out to have the opposite condition of his father's, that's neat!

Yea i have changed his back story a bit- The other had that his mother was a thrish who ran off short after he was born to die in the wilderness- i decided that a tolken more fits a bit better-

She was young- about 19 i think when she had Harland- and as for aging the Rumian year is a month or two more then earths- along with the fact that Rumians actually age slower then humans. Average life span is around 140- this is equivalent to our 80- which is an average sort of lifespan now a days, granted illness doesnt get to you first. It's more common for many to live to 120, which to them is a very normal thing. They become sexually mature around 15 and are accepted as adults at 17- suggesting that despite their delayed aging process- they seem to reach maturity quicker then humans. 19 however is still young- since most suggest the best time to have children in the race would be more around 25- since this gives the body time to stabilize and show the majority of any genetic or Sanis conditions (sanis is the equivalent of cancer in this world, only much worse- its really diverse and makes up a list of hundreds of conditions, some of them an lead to deat, while the majority just make life incredibly hard) Most of the long term life conditions will show themselves with in the first 20 years of early development, while life threatening ones typcially dont surfice until late in the life (70-80years)

I just adore your character designs. I love the colors, the different personalities that your designs convey, and I think your painting technique is simply beautiful. Plus your species are so original. I wish that I had your talent!
