I haven't followed this franchise for at least 5 years now, but recently I just happened to come across some Naruto AMVs showing him with yellow eyes and orange "eyeshadow". And for some unknown reason, I found this extremely intriguing. o_o Add a little boredom and a moment of weakness, I started watching Shippuuden, burned through the episodes, and was duly awarded for my curiosity!..So anyway, here's to Sage Mode Naruto and countless of hours procrastinated.

where roughly in shippuden does it show him with his orange eyeshadow? ive seen it everywhere and im up to about episode 70 of shipp but havnt seen it yet :/

Ahh it's still quite far off for you still. I'm not sure if it shows up earlier while he was training for it, but I know that the first time he fights in sage mode is episode 163.

Wow, the colors and watercolor effect are very nice. It's soft and actually soothing to look at, very cool. Amazing how much Naruto and the story has changed, huh?

Lovely!! Yeah, his orange eyeshadow is really quite intriguing...Random but it suits him nicely (= It's amazing to see Naruto's growth, from a bratty 12-year old to a respectable teen.
I really like this illustration, especially the lush lush colours. Beautiful, and captures Naruto nicely!

Yeah definitely one of the winning points of Naruto is the character development! It's nice to see how much he has matured, no longer that annoying eyesore of a kid. xD Anyway, thank you! I wanted to capture a more serious side of him here.
