Description

We’re always thinking that someday we will be happy, but happiness is a mood not a destination,

it’s like being tired or hungry, it’s not permanent, it comes and goes and that’s okay

it is okay to feel sad sometimes or seek loneliness even .

and I feel like if people thought of it that way they’d find happiness a lot more often

BTW : before someone say something about this being in the conceptual category .

do i really need to explain .

there is so many things between faith and religions , being devoted to an image or a expectation of the unseen .

 i l l u s i o n s .

go watch the 6th episode of GoT season 6 and you will get there .

A inspiring, esthetic and heavy shot as always from jyoujo.

There are certain photographs that invite you to relax and imagine the peace that must feel like to be there. Good shot and technique. Regards

Indeed, happiness may have a different definition, depending on who is asked. And the photograph itself is absolutely charming, yet mysterious. A perfect fit for the text below.

I always think if you want to feel of happiness then, learn about sadness firstly and use it as you power to make thing better.

Loneliness is not a bad option of people's feeling,it make me realise the truth of the world and society.

It's beautiful and full fill your human being.

'Happiness is not
the kind of place that lets you
linger for too long

Once you've out-stayed your welcome,
you have no choice but to leave'

People have a strange approach to happiness these days. I think it used to be more of an incidental result of living; now, it is view as a life-long goal in itself. People pursue it with all kinds of strategies: they say 'if I do this thing/acquire this possession/achieve this milestone, I am then guaranteed to be happy!' Yet happiness, like all moods, can't be easily governed like that. I think most disappointments in life stem from this idea that there are plottable steps for reaching happiness, when happiness is not half as predictable as that. It just happens while you're living, at odd moments, sometimes when you least expect it.
I dislike some holidays - especially birthdays - because there is this pressure of *having* to be happy on specific days. I would rather have a hundred fleeting, unplanned moments of happiness than a single long, carefully-conceived, fully-scripted birthday celebration.

By the way, I saw on Instagram that you are studying to become a carer - congratulations, and good luck!
I hope you find it fulfilling, and help a lot of people

yeah , this is part of a lot of things that are changing my career path ,
or more wisely say as my life path for sure .

it is indeed hard to know how will be the feeling once you get to a destination ,
i am sure i will want more , always . isn't this the  whole point right ?
not only to get to one point to another but , to know you have always a new goal that
appears in the process and ,it is ok to pursue whatever you want if you have an understanding
that you shouldn't hurt people in the process .

Or at the very least get some damage control .

I personally don't think we will ever going play safe all the time  ,
we can only do our best .

I also believe if someone ever have a best friend , you know how happiness feels like .
it's all in there .All the discussions and conclusions , cause best friends,
they get to be there and see how things will turn out to be .
just as you will see theirs .

it is just as amazing as it is . life . friendship .

and happiness comes and goes , whatever .

to just have this understanding should be ok live without trying to
judge the level of whatever feel/ing . you are get in the moment .
and just maybe , a person can enjoy things as they unfold ..

well . i guess this is too much already said .

so how to distinguish what is an   i l l u s i o n  and what is not?
once I had this conversation with a friend and he said to me:
'You are living in Your wonderful world which doesn't exist.
The way You see people, things... nothing is like that, nothing is as good as You keep thinking it is.'
I replied 'do You really believe that seeing things all wrong would make me happier?'

A glass of water filled in half can be seen half empty or half full.
It can be filled even much less than half but... it's the one You focus on that determine Your level of happiness... or its lack.
Anyway... It's a very broad topic right?

I wish that once you could tell me about the place where you took this picture.
It seems as 'still' as if time has stopped there... kind of
And even if it's just a false impression, it   f e e l s   so good...

Interesting picture..
And it's true, happiness is not a destination! I love the quote I found in a Dutch happiness book, it says something like this in English; ''happiness is a direction, not a place''
