I know I said I wasn't going to upload anything for a while, but I'm tired of looking at that ugly thing as my recent deviation.This is just a sketch that I did at work. I've been having a ton of fun drawing lately. I'm going to make a color version of this later.

Honestly, I like this in greyscale, it's very soothing. I'm sure you'd pull of colored just as well, though.

And yeah. I wanted to get the sketch nice and smooth. Didn't spend a terrible amount of time on it, so it's still a little weird, but it was fun to draw!

Something about the face reminds me of something else, but I can't figure out what... The style's a little different than what I'm used to from you as far as shading and tones, but it works. I like it.

Yeah, I'm doing a lot of playing with styles. The shading and tones was intentional though, just from trying to get it to look a little more like water, and partially because I was just greying out the areas that I want to be underwater. It was one of those things that started out with one intention but changed itself while being worked. 
And I'm going to probably color it in a bit of mixed media, though I have a heavy preference towards watercolor for this one. Pastels will have to wait for something more appropriate to the medium for what I want to do with it.
