gorgeous! i feel like if ben templesmith could draw a bit better his work might look like this. i'm sure that's a pretty tired comparison to make though. anyway, i love i. i'm digging on the watercolor-esque texture as well. nice work as always

The theme behind the book cover is either trauma or salvation. I imagined 2 scenarios here so that the guy could be seen as perhaps a) someone who is being rescued from a traumatic event such as car accident and there is a rescue chopper above or b) he's just gone postal, is surrounded by police and knows there is no point in running any more.
Open to interpretation n stuff.
