Thanks. I blocked in a bunch of the main areas first with straight oil paints using flat hogs hair brushes, then I added in the streaks using Neo Megilp, turpentine, and different shades of oils with thick round brushes.
It's kinda cool to see in person because it sort of glows when light hits it.

I know what you mean.Sometimes when I lift my paintings in front of a light the colors like red become more intense and look better.I m thinking of starting to paint with oil colors.They look pretty cool.Except oil colors what do you usually use?I often use soft pastels....

I pretty much only use oils. I've tried acrylics, watercolors, and pastels, but never liked them as much as oils. My favorite thing about oils is that the paints become more transparent as they age, so if you paint in numerous layers the painting looks better as it gets older. Also, the colors are generally a lot richer.
