I always prefered Shani to Triss. Of course, my fav was Yen, but when I had to choose in the first game between Shani and Triss, I gave Alvin to Triss mainly because of the books and the way she helped Cirri (I have no ilusions - as much as I liked her, Yen was a bitch) but gave the ring to Shani just so Geralt wouldn't end up with Triss. She was always somehow disshonest to me.
