Please feel free to check out the rest of my gallery (newer works,) I'll write a more formal appreciation in my journal tomorrow, but for now I need to get some sleep.His true name long forgotten, whispers and children's nightmares merely know him as the Paperman,
Another harbinger of doom from the distant lands.
How he came to be is known by few, all that is known is that which you can see, a bright hot fire seems to burn form the very core of his bones, whilst his skin perpetually hardens- cracks- flakes- and drifts away like ash from a dying fire...
edit: micron+painter x ~1 hour spent coloring maybe 20-30 mins on initial sketch (including discarded designs)

hmm. his skin properties remind me of "The Scab Horde" people from Ted Dekker's "the Circle" trilogy. dont know if youve read it. (check it out if you havent!

He looks a lot like Ruin when he's unmasked in the Superman books. I won't put his name here, it's a pretty big spoiler for anyone who isn't current.
