Description "Everything is related. I'm often in denial about the fact that my drawings clearly represent me, my feelings, my soul, in some way. I am often in denial because 1) mental illness is still seems to be a shameful thing to publicly admit and 2) the drawings are often too ugly (they are good, but too much to be seen hung up on a wall). This is a drawing that I am pleased to display, and for the first time, would like to share an explanation.
In this drawing, the feline ghost, disguised as a bird, is forcing the woman to become exposed. In truth, there is a scared creature inside, always on the lookout. Always in defense mode, ready to strike when feeling threatened. A tense moment has been captured where the rabbit may strike at any second.. yet, is the ghost really responsible for revealing the creature? After all, it is a ghost, a being that cannot affect the physical world."

Very revealing but wonderful piece of work. I'm curious about any possible significance to the large insect.

It's mostly a foreground element. It gives the feel that the viewer is peering through the plants, like spying. The insect is enlarged as if the viewer is looking closely, intensely, watching.
