"Alright! Quiet on the set!

Tokyo Ghoul, episode ten; Ayato kicks butt, take five-hundred. And... action!"

With the cameras rolling and the cast in their positions (properly saying their lines for once), it seemed like things were finally going to go smoothly. Perhaps this would be the last time the scene would be filmed. Everyone was super tired and desperately wanted to go home and relax.

As the cameras focused on Ayato standing on the rooftop, everyone held their breath, hoping the boy wouldn't slip or get injured. This was a crucial scene; they had done it so many times and had him work with the martial arts instructor. So everybody expected him to continue performing the scene flawlessly, as he had been.

As he jumped down from the roof and prepared his first kick, a tearing sound quietly cut through the silence, though going unnoticed by the cast and crew. Once his cue came, Ayato connected his foot to the window, shattering the pieces, before lifting his leg higher into the air to deliver an even more powerful kick to Banjo's stunt-double's back. Suddenly-!

RIIIIIIIP!

The sound of a pair of pants tearing at the seam tore through the silence on the set. Everyone immediately stopped what they were doing and turned to look towards the sound. A red-faced Ayato bit his lip and buried his nose in his character's purple scarf. Pretty soon the entire cast and crew burst into laughter, minus the speechless director who groaned in annoyance.

"Cut! Cut! Cut! Alright, alright! Enough! Enough!" The director hissed, voice growing louder and louder over the din of jovial laughter. The cast and crew immediately shut up, terrified of the director's wrath. "Where the f*ck is the head of the costume department?! Somebody get Ayato a new pair of jeans - preferably a pair that fit him!"

As a couple of the costume department ran off to resolve the issue of Ayato's torn pants, the humiliated young actor crawled away to a dark corner of the cafe and hid his face ashamed of the humongous hole in his pants. When someone handed him a pair his size, he scooted on his bottom to his dressing room, clutching the pair of jeans close to his face. Ignoring the giggles and the jokes from the cast members, he flipped the finger to whomever in the costume department was responsible for the wardrobe mix-up.

As he scooted into his dressing room, Ayato muttered, "I will never live this down! Crap."
