"Quick! Quick, he's coming!" Hayama bounced inside the classroom.

"Here, let me help you with that, [Name]!"

"Ah, I've got it, Nebuya! Oof! Ow, ow, ow...!"

"Haha, nah! You don't got it, [Name]! Haha!"

"Nebuya, keep your voice down. He'll hear you," Mibuchi, dubbed "Mamabuchi" by [Name] and their classmates, shushed his noisy classmate.

"Guys, guys! Sensei's walking down the hall! Sit down, sit down!"

"Wait!" [Name] sprung up from their seat in the front to "fix" one last portrait before they sat back down.

As the door opened Akashi Seijuro's seventh period English class quieted down, desperately containing their giggles. "Class... What's going-? Hayama, Nebuya, and [Name]." Akashi sternly reprimanded the three stooges, saying, "Take off those idiotic baseball caps and put them back on the hooks. They're for decoration only."

As Akashi walked to his desk, he placed his bag against the wall before sitting down.

"Ouch! Ow, d*mn foot!"

Akashi sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Mayuzumi, please come out from under there and return to your seat."

The entire class burst into a fit of giggles, Nebuya the loudest of them all, as Mayuzumi Chihiro, Rakuzan's "Invisible Man," crawled out from underneath Akashi's desk, hair a mess, uniform covered in dust. "Sorry, sensei. It was Hayama and [Name]'s fault."

"Mayuzumi!" Hayama and [Name] whined, upset that their classmate had ratted them out.

"Hayama Kotaro. [Full Name]. Come to the front, please."

The entire class feel silent, the tense air hanging thick over the room. Hayama and [Name], heads bowed down in fear, slowly trudged to the front of the class to face their deaths. Each of them had a billion questions running through their mind. What would Akashi do? What would Akashi not do? How mad was he? Would they be sent to the principal's office? Would the get detention? Would they get suspended from school?

"Was that a joke?"

Hayama gulped and eyed [Name], green eyes pleading them to speak up first. [Name] glared at them. "Why are you pinning this on me?!" [Name] whispered angrily at Rakuzan's small forward. Hayama whispered back a sorry before Akashi stepped in.

"Is there a problem? I asked a question."

"Uh... N-No, sensei... There isn't a problem... W-What was your question, s-sensei? Heh, heh... I-I wasn't paying attention."

Akashi sighed and rubbed his temples. He'd have to have a talk with Kuroko later on how to deal with rowdy students. Why he ever took the job Kuroko offered him, he'll never understand. "I asked if what just took place was all a joke."

"A-Ah, i-it was, sensei..."

A deathly silence hung between Akashi and [Name], making the class very, very nervous. There was no hint of anger, nor any hint of amusement or mirth on their teacher's face. They didn't know whether to laugh or scream. But, it was worse for [Name] and Hayama, as they were the ones who had to directly deal with their teacher's possible wrath.

"U-Um... Sensei?" Hayama tentatively asked Akashi, hoping to relieve even a tiny bit of the tension hovering in the classroom.

"You may sit back down, Hayama." Hayama breathed a sigh of relief, dragging himself back to his seat next to Nebuya. Inside he was inwardly celebrating that so far he wasn't in trouble.

As for [Name], "[Name]."

"Yes?!" [Name] squeaked making their fellow pranksters in crime chuckle. Embarrassed of the very ungraceful, high-pitched squeak that erupted from their vocal chords, [Name] coughed into their first before reaffirming their question. "Yes, Akashi-sensei?"

"Please teach me that joke."

"Eh? Eh?! W-What?! I-I mean... Sure...?"

"You don't sound too sure of yourself, [Name]. Is something wrong?"

"N-No! I-I mean... It's just that... A-Are you not going to give me a demerit nor send me to the principal's office?"

Akashi smiled. "No, [Name]. I will not send you and your friends to the principal's office. You are all children and like to fool around. If you did this during class, I may do so. But this was before class started, so you are excused. Besides, when I was in high school, my classmates and I did the same thing to our teacher."

As the tense cloud finally dissipated into the air, Hayama, Mibuchi, Mayuzumi, Nebuya, and [Name] all breathed easy glad that they weren't going to get into serious trouble.

"But."

"I want the five of you to stay after class and rehang my portraits and posters to how they original were. I will write a note to your science teacher."

"...Yes, sensei," the five stooges sighed and then glared at each other, as they began their English lesson.
