Description Another try at computer coloring. I scanned in the picture, then instead of getting rid of everything except the lines, I only cut the negative space out and simply made the positive space lineart somewhat transparent and began putting in the colors underneath of that layer. The automatic degree of white made all the colors cool and rather muted, and calm... low intensity. I generated the background by using the filters provided to me through photoimpression 4. Sadly, I no longer have the PSF version, due to computer crashes and heat-damaged back up disks. The file was actually lost from my computer. But I had posted it up on Elfwood previously. I don't remember if they made me resize it there, but they most likely did. I copy-pasted the image on Elfwood back to my own computer and now I am sad that I cannot have the original file back. I got lucky, though and should be thankful.

Gorgeous! I think this is your best one. She really seems to be under water... Wonderful coloring.

Achieving the effect that I wanted was actually an accident. shh. don't tell anyone that I'm not really a genius with subpar computer coloring programs. lol jk. Thanks, I'm glad you like it.

Simply beautiful I love that she looks like she's moving through the water, not just posing. The colouring is great, too--it almost makes me feel like if I were underwater, I couldn't be sure if I was actually seeing her in front of me or not.
