Thanks!! I like shadows, but my camera always makes dark areas of my photos extremely noisy.
I wish I had a scanner so I could upload photos from my manual SLR.

I thought this turned out alright though, I'm glad you like it!

I am dying for a DSLR. I got paid, and on ebay they had the canon digi rebel in this whole package that came with a tripod and a couple lights and an extra lens, all for about 700$$.

But I can't get it because Christmas is coming. It's my new year's resolution to get a DSLR by the end of 2007. I have bands wanting to do photoshoots with me now because of the danger, they're using my shots as promos [link] if you want to check it out, and they put my images on their CD cover and the CD, I'm very pleased. But the singer didn't like what the other guys were wearing so they want to do another one. I stare at the CD all the time, even though it's just a local band. I feel ever so proud.

I have been doing research and getting opinions from various people. Many say the rebel is tough on batteries and the D70 is a better deal. Take that for what it is worth.

One of the people I spoke with was ^radioPooh and I value his opinion. His shots look very sharp.

ahh....^radioPooh has excellent shots. I will definitely take your word on this then. I get really agitated at dying batteries. They need to have a decent half-life. I guess when you read about it on Canon's site they're not going to tell you the negative aspects of the cam.

~rebelx I believe has the D70 and he has some exceptional shots. I think I'll do some research on that camera and see if I can find a good deal on it.

There's this great store, Shutan camera around here and the guy that works there always gives me deals on shit. He's awesome. He was going to sell me an enlarger that was 1 year old and in really good condition for 75$ but I don't have anywhere to set up a dark room. I think I might give him a call and see what he's got in store.
