It's really subtle, but I like the shading on Roxy's bangs.
The hearts in Jane's hair are obviously cute too, though.

Until you mentioned it, I didn't really noticed how far she had gone. I thought she just had her arm over her shoulder, I didn't see the boob-grabbing right away.
That's why I tend to just use a slightly lighter color, like dark brown/blue/purple. And then shade black.
With ALL OF THE DRUGS.
See, currently I'm going through a phase where all the time I have had to draw and color is forcing me to screw up everything and it's been SO HARD shading your thing. I found a method I'm happy with for now, but in a way it kinda makes everything look like metal... so. Yeah, shiny everything.
One of the ways I tried earlier made Jane's shirt looked soaked. You'd probably approve, but it didn't really make sense.

I think the blue on that one was okay, but the way you shaded it made it look kinda flat. :/
You could try brown next time. It's like how Roxy "has white hair" but you make her blond. It makes more sense for shading and stuff to make her blond rather than white/light pink, and the same can be applied to Jane.
She did buy a lot of those, didn't she?
I can draw Homestuck stuff now that it's summer, but if I actually wanna use the art for like a portfolio or anything then it's not a good idea. :/

Yes, I know. I have been doing both and I will continue to. Just most of my fanart stuff goes on tumblr instead of dA. But I also have projects lined up for non-Homestuck stuff, so I should be fairly busy this summer with plenty of art stuff. OH, and I need to start working for your birthday. I was trying to think of some other pairing I could coerce you into drawing and then I realized that you barely ever draw guys. So instead I think you should just draw some male Homestucks, even if they are gender bender versions of normally female characters.

Oh, poo. No offense, but those are two of my least favorite characters. I think when I reread Homestuck eventually (if I do) then I could appreciate Sollux, but the first time reading through I just barely even acknowledged his existence. He's just such a background character.
