picture taken at G-Anime conventionI wasn't able to choose between the animated series or the live action movie for my design. When I saw realistic versions of Avatar last airbender characters, I thought it was a great idea, so I decided to combine both designs and I came up with my own version of Princess Yue. The realistic style and the fabric textures are inspired by the movie and the general appearance by the animated series.

How did you make the pattern for yue's dress/parka? I was thinking of trying to make a yue cosplay but had no idea how to make the parka.

sorry for the late reply, i feel so bad ! I was on vacation for christmas 
I bought a pattern for a pyjama thing from Burda, I think. It was a weird night dress with an hood lol I modified the hood and the sleeves to make them bigger. I also increased the curve in the front and add lenght to the back to make it longer like the train she has.
