Nidra opened her eyes! She drew some deep and rapid breaths, in order to gain control of her thoughts. Her heart was ticking rapidly instead of beating regularly. Had she really been dead?! Suddenly a pain radiated through her the moment she realized that she had opened her eyes. It tightened, tightened around her eye. She closed the eyes to relieve the pain. Had she really met Lucio again? Suddenly it struck her, where was Xanthus?! She opened her eyes again and the pain returned. Where was Xanthus?------------------------------
Okay, nothing fancy I guess. But here you can see the injury that Nidra has recieved. Not a fancy wound, I might say...

I love the way the eye its self is in focus and the rest is blured around which gives it this very strong effect, you can almost feel the beat(as you get in your head when something dramatic happens)as you look at the picture. You can see the shock and panic in her expression though the eye alone,you can feel the empathy, as if your actully there.
Not the most detailed piece ever but just as, if not more, inspiring and it has a very big impact on just what is happening.
