i love the way this is so balanced, the composition i mean. the diagonal from the tree, moving into the clouds down left, and then back to the right with the diagonal of the hills... really keeps one engaged with in the piece. and then of course there are the rich colours and interesting details

Very good shot. Such a uniqe landscape.
That tree is like no tree I've ever seen in real life.
Good photo and a good gallery! Keep up the good work!

what really makes this photo is that the low-attraction points are detailed beautifully but not too obtrusive. well done.

great composition.
the lines of the horizon, hills and tree are balances nicely, not to mention the diagonal focal points created by the leaning tree and the clouds.
The only thing I'd say to make it better is to rotate the image/camera a few degrees clockwise to make the horizon (where hills and sky meet the ground) more level.
Then you'd have a perfect shot.
Keep it up, lovin it.

Moment I saw the thumb for this I knew it had to be Australia Like no other landscape in the world.
This is a great, and the epitome of Australian farmland - well, it's the epitome of farmland in Victoria, anyway - the house (tank and all) the hills, the dead tree and the blue skies...
I don't even like rural Australia and that's beautiful to me
Fabulous work.

Great for a first shot... the sky's a really vivid blue, nicely set off by the clouds and contrasted with the ground and the tree. Nice composition with the tree on the side instead of boring dead center I like it, it's a nicely done photo.
