Yay, finished!
I used textures from CG textures, and for the 'hybrid' bird I googled up some crow, raven, hawk and owl images and used them as a pose reference hope you guys like it!

I think "like it" is an understatement". You created an incredible work, my friend! Everything blends well and nothing sticks out as "not belonging" if you know what I mean. There is also a definite emotional element to it - in my opinion a good picture always touches the emotions in some way. Excellent job!

I like the way you blended everything with the black. It gives an amazing effect, and even though black is quite common (It's represents the darkness afterall) you took nice advantage of it. Good stuff!
