How hard is to be an artist sometimes…

We do not have a simple path, where we just cross milestones off our list and swim in appraisal from the start.

Some days the only thing that keeps us going is the faith that someone out there likes our work, that we managed to transmit something to someone.

Those voices: you are not good enough, you will never be good enough, no one will ever want to buy your art or hang it in their living room, are just behind the corner, and when you are alone, working in the dark, those voices grow louder and louder, making you doubt everything you do.

What choice do we have anyway? We eat some chocolate and draw on 😊
