"The “imaginary friend” syndrome is an overactive imagination disorder. It consists in creating a reassuring mental companion in order to cope with a troubling situation. This friend is a fictional projection and only exists in the mind’s person: the inner life gets the upper hand on the external world. Frequent and considered as harmless during childhood, imaginary friends can last until adulthood, and may then reveal a deep sorrow."

It's actually a text written in French, and as DA is mostly for English speakers, it didn't seem suitable but here it is, with the translation below! www.facebook.com/122494317108/…

Even though each picture has its own charm, this little explanation allows us to appreciate the series and its value thoroughly. Now, after seeing it complete, I can say: the whole series is wonderful!! It has images that are truly captivating by the beauty and mystery they contain.. You did a magnificent job!

Great job on the series! Did you use just one girl or twins as the models?

Thank you! There's just one girl, it seemed more logical with the meaning of the series

I was blown away by this series, beautifully told I'll invite all of it to my group, I think it would be a really good addition to the Conceptual gallery.

For some reason, this series reminds me of the anime Serial Experiments Lain . One of its themes is mental illness from the perspective of the person with the illness. That series and this one are very well done and sometimes unnerving. The anime was so unnerving that I quit watching it halfway through the series, but I stayed with this series to the end and it was worth it.
