My entry for the Pacific Rim Fan art contest.Kapre Endeavor having a brutal fight with a kaiju at EDSA-Ortigas!
The place is where the Philippine revolution of 1986 took place,now its a busy road but with the recent kaiju attack its not so busy anymore lol
The Kapre Endeavor got its name Kapre from a Philippine mythical creature that could be characterized as a tree giant. and Endeavor because it represents the struggle and labor the pilots and the whole team face each day to protect the Philippine islands. also it has a nice ring to it

Thank you! I imagine if the Philippines do make a Jaeger program it will be based on gypsy avenger like what they did on the mrt, aurelio car, jeepneys and others, they will just modify it. the budget will be pocketed by the officials and the good people left on the program will have to endure to make it work. The pilots will be arnis proficient hence the double blade weapon. that's why the design can't be overly nationalistic.
