RE: REQUESTING CCU57 TO BE ANATHEMATIZED TILL FURTHER NOTICE

In an effort to further understand the effects of the Crimson Cataclysm on space-time continuum, the Prime Council of the Luminary has initiated exploratory expeditions to at least 64 cosmic iterations that have all succumbed to a hastened and all encompassing entropy. All data points to a unanimous conclusion that this phenomenon massively truncates the life-span of a universe to a mere several dozen billion years after its onset. Despite our numerous successes in these expeditions, I would like to bring into light a harrowing incident that occurred to EE-CCU57-001, which led to the disappearance of 3 out 5 of the expedition members. One that could significantly hinder future expeditions and put into question the safety of those involved. The following is a transcript from the black box aboard the orbital station, highlighting key moments of interest:

All sensor readings are borderline zero. The CMB is so faint it's almost negligible on our orbital instruments. Not even a whisper. Even silence would be inadequate to describe it.

Observe that crimson star above the horizon. It is the last source of light in this entire universe. But it is an anomaly. According to stellar telemetry, that star should have died long ago. And yet, there it is. Still radiating frail rays of light with no living beings to bask in it. Despite its size and luminosity, without anything else to rival its light, it has become the brightest object in this universe, enough to illuminate distant worlds many light years away.

It's strange though. The star emits pulses of wave patterns in intervals too symmetrical and precise for it to be natural. It's as if... it's trying to communicate. Despite our attempts to analyze and parse the wave patterns, it is still too complex and noisy for anything to be gleaned out of it.

We don't know how old these ruins are. It's possible multiple civilizations, at least those capable of space faring, have huddled around this star as a last place of refuge; like survivors gathered around a feeble campfire on a harsh winter night. It's possible that some of these orbiting planets are artificial, or have been moved in stable orbit around the star. There are far too many terrestrial worlds, some in strange orbits for them to be the result of natural planetary formation. Who knows.

Based on spectral analysis of these ruins, whatever intelligent life these worlds have harbored would have died out many eons ago. Absolute zero signs of life. Not even microorganisms. It's bizarre.

Apart from the star, there's absolutely no sign of energy sources be they natural or artificial. Not on this planet nor on any of the neighboring ones. Even their cores have solidified. No radioactive emissions of any kind either.

Nothing... absolutely nothing. You know that feeling when you have a sleep paralysis and everything around you is nothing but absolute darkness. No shapes, nothing to hold on to... that suffocating blackness. Except there's no waking up from this endless abyss.

To say that I'm terrified would be an immense understatement. Time has become meaningless here. All decay has ceased. Perhaps even death itself has died along with it. Even that lone star will one day fade away into nothingness... all alone in this sea of eternal night.

What exactly happened to EM-01, 02, and 03 are unclear. But the surviving ground crew described them going into a frenzy, tearing on their protective suits and carving unknown symbols onto their flesh, before running towards the direction of the star. Their whereabouts and status are currently unknown. Upon arrival of the 2 survivors, a mass hysteria ensued aboard the orbital station, forcing the command crew to initiate an emergency trans-dimensional jump. The survivors have become severely catatonic and had to be sedated for further evaluation. During their waking periods, they'd ramble on and on about a "Red God", at times humming a tune that sounded like a hymn. Further debriefing of the entire crew is still pending at this time.

The transmission received by EM-01 at line 380 was further analyzed. Initially it yielded nothing more than garbled noises and static. But after each layer of the signal was separated and then re-aligned, we were able to extrapolate numerous vocalizations speaking in unison. Below is what it says:

"LOOK UPON THE FACE OF GOD AND BECOME ONE WITH US! JOIN US! JOIN US NOW!"

What followed was a cacophony of screaming and wailing.

Since this is the only data we have of the incident, we cannot say for sure what exactly is this "Crimson Star" that they have encountered. It may not even be Hierarchy of origin, but something else entirely. Despite the enormity of our knowledge and the vastness of our Multiversal Network, I must admit there are things out there that eludes our understanding.

I hereby request that all expeditions to CCU57 be suspended until further notice. We don't know the extent of the anomaly's capabilities and its true intentions. We have enough trouble in our hands, and we cannot risk drawing the attention of another god-like entity into our fold. If it is indeed one.
