Description Terra is another character I have a love-hate relationship with. I understand that she needed help controlling her powers, but she didn't have to be so BIPOLAR when it came to the Titans. She was complex and interesting, and her feelings were very deep, but seriously, PICK A SIDE.

I like the overly cartoony aspect of this one, which the white outlines added to. Decided to outline it because there was too much black involved. But the bright contrast of the colors against the black background really makes them stand out.

Thank you so much! I outlined the character and made the background surrounding her black, then I just filled in the colors and highlights as needed. for the white outline around her, I just took the eraser to the background and erased an outline around her. It was actually very simple and easy.

Yeah, she is. I just think she had a bad start at a bad time. I felt sorry for BB in the end though. I cried for like 10 minutes *man tears* lol

I have to agree with you there. Poor kid. Terra's just a dream-crusher. MANLY TEARS. IT'S OKAY. Oh man, I cried too, and I was quite young at the time. EMOTIONAL IMPACT GO

I always used to hate her when i was a kid. :/ Now that I look back at her personality and stuff I'm like 'What the hell was I thinking?!' I mean yea...in the start she was being used by Slade but she was all hesitant.

That is true. The only reason she went to Slade is because she couldn't control her powers...I dunno, I mean, the Titans gave her everything and she still betrayed them. Never knew what to make of her, but she's certainly a complex character.

The Titans were far from innocent in what ultimately became of Terra ! Afterall , let`s not forget it was Beast Boy`s bright idea to introduce Terra to Slade at her most vulnerable , The Titans` first priority should have been making Terra feel more at home right from the start when she was clearly in need of far more care , understanding and true friendship than they gave her ! Instead , they recklessly endangered her with their selfish Slade fixation ! Friendship should always come before beating up bad guys , especially when you`re friends with a wounded personality like Terra ! But , The Titans were so caught up in their Slade obsession they totally , stupidly ignored the signs of Terra`s insecurities , emotional and psychological issues right in front of their faces when she needed friendship the most !

Correction : The Titans gave her everything except what she really needed , caring , understanding , acceptance and liking her for who she was rather than pressuring her to act like an " Idealized " version of herself to gain their trust ( Which only exacerbated her pre-existing Emotional and Psychological Issues including Paranoia and Self-Loathing )and then rejected her when that facade broke along with her heart due to Beast Boy`s impulsiveness , selfishness and stupidity at the exact moment when she was struggling to figure out whose side she was truly on , making her bury most of her Emotions and go over fully to Slade`s side becoming his Loyal , Sadistic , Stoic Apprentice .
