Absolutely. No joke, I don't think I've had as much fun playing any campaign as much as I did with the new Doom... since the original Doom. Very long too - I've been playing on the hardest difficulty and am only just completing it - 18 hours so far.

Very much worth it.

New Doom is amaaaaazing. Just played it trough first time on "Ultra Violence". Absolutely fantastic game!
