Description I would really recommend looking at the larger version. The small one just does not look as good.

This is a pose from X-Men #231 drawn originally by Rick Leonardi. I've always loved the shot, so I re-did it adding his classic uniform.

I'm not sure if this is the final image or not... but it's pretty close to where I want it. Maybe a few more tweaks - any suggestions?

I have one suggestion, i noticed that his suite seems to have more shine than his metal skin. maybe you could work on flipping that around.

I think overall it comes through quite well, i can imagine what a bitch it must be to get that shiny metallic look.

So far is looking real good but as someone said, u need to pop him out a lil more with darker lines.

I just have to say that the style you drew his face reminds me so much of the old Metropolis movie...
But just ignore me. Those muscles all over his body are so impressive - and you make them look ever better with your great highlighting and shading. The way the uniform looks on his abs is awesome.

great coloring! very 3-d in a 2-d comic illustration. The only thing that bothers me is the background, you should take out the cheap border effect...it makes it look like a huge cheap button. >.< But, once that's taken out, add a white border to it and it'll look like a professional poster! great craftsmanship. Now, i want you to push yourself and bring out your true talent on a character of your own.

It looks good so far, but I would use more darker defining lines. He needs to stand out more from the background too. Hes colored in alittle too lightly.

Agreed. I think I have to do another layer in shade for a more crisp look.
