I know right, so unfortunate, dead from an allergic reaction in a routine hospital check. Wonder how Vol.3 (and possibly other future volumes) will do since Monty had ALOT of involvement in this show.

Is it weird that the SFX automatically started playing in my head, and that as I kept watching and staring at this, I started to quietly make *schwink* and *woosh* and *clank* noises to myself. Then everyone in the study hall looked at me?

I know this comment's a few months old, but is there any chance you could post a still picture of this technique? I understand the concept, but the animation is so fast I'm not sure how the plane would look.

I can't help but notice the minor error, when she swings the scythe into horizontal, i could tell it just phases through her body for a second.

I watched the actual trailer beside this over and over and it's completely clean! the only thing missing is the hood and the wolves, but besides that it's a really good animation!

This is a brilliant bit of work. I like the motion blur - the mistake a lot of animators make is that they make movement too smooth when our eyes really can't manage that.
BTW - Am I the only one who remains surprised that a small girl like that can throw around what's got to be a 50lb weapon (horribly balanced too, most of the weight is in the head on one end) like it's a feather duster? The Rule of Cool always wins out!
