despite his return to humanity, sektor is still determined to mechanically upgrade himself, one way or another. this is the outcome - a multi-layered cyber suit featuring retro and modern elements, with a variety of options to dress up and weaponize sektor in several different ways. it's a brand-new design, handpainted and compiled just for this model; the cyber suit sektor  concept is from my original mk novel, mirror match (bit.ly/mirrormatch53 ). take a look, and be sure to check out the gear system gif version in the link below. note: this is model #99!

detailed info:
-this is a full new design that combines sektor's very cool cyber design elements with his true human form. the concept is from my mk novel, mirror match; sektor appears much later in the story, but his role is significant in part six, and he first appears in chapter 53 (check the link above)
-from a visual standpoint, this directly combines the retro cyber ninja look from mk9 (the base for this concept) with a whole new detailed and painted design, and an outer layer of armor made from recycled triborg pieces (also a plot point)
-all armor textures are repainted by hand with a similar rusted/weathered metal texture and a jigsaw wire pattern on the silver and black outfit parts, resembling his other mk9 model's textures from my revision. it seemed like a very sektor thing to do, to keep the outfit materials consistent; it's for the aesthetic
-the unique and detailed pattern of his base bodysuit is a totally new design, also done with elaborate paint-work and enhanced with the depth/shine effects. it's based on the retro ninja model, but repainted from scratch, and since he's human, he no longer has details like the rocket launcher embedded in his chest
-the different styles of cyber armor don't clip with each other and are fully layered! you can use him without the armor in his basic bodysuit, or with the retro-style accessories (chest and shoulder guards, belt with pouches, front and side belt flaps, thigh guards, knee pads, and more)
-the recycled triborg pieces add a set of red metal plating on top of the rest of his outfit (torso, shoulder pads, arms, gloves, back, hips, legs, boots). it also includes elbow-mounted mini rocket launchers, for that extra level of danger
-since he is human, the fingertips under his gloves will always be visible, just to make it clear that this is, in fact, an actual person in a cyber armor suit, not some kind of hybrid (although sektor might prefer that; too bad). he also has a slight aesthetic upgrade option with a thicker hairstyle, not just the tightly pulled-back hair over his scalp
-his helmet is optional, and the faceplate can be shown or hidden separately to reveal his rather handsome features. the helmet, too, is based on the retro cyber ninja look but heavily reworked. the long wires at the back are not rigged for posing - too much effort, too little reward. sorry about that. his ponytail, however, is totally posable, just like his mk9 human model
-sektor is additionally weaponized with his arm-mounted flamethrowers and backpack (separate items in the optional menu), which are taken from the revised sektor human mk9 model i released some time ago. the tubes on the flamethrower are rigged to move with his arms and both shoulder posing points
-he has the standard mk9 armature, with 3 spine posing points and everything else you've come to expect. NOTE: the "arm roll" and "leg roll" posing points now do not move the whole limb, but can be used to adjust the upper and lower arm & leg without disrupting the pose. this is a change i'll also be implementing on future mk9-based models
-preview pose included as cybersuitsektorpreview.pose

note: justthehead.mesh included for kombat dress up. make your fashion choices wisely

cool! it would be cooler if his helmet is even more organic, like he wears the standard
black cowl of Subzero while his Face mask is his Sektor mask!
or without the cowl with his hair tied and out while wearing his Sektor Mask!

Yay, Ketchup

He must be one of those types who is always cold no matter what because he's got so many layers of "clothing" Joking aside, wow! An astonishing amount of detail and customization possibility! Not even the folks at the Cyber Initiative have thought of so many options I bet

I like the hi-tech pattern on his base suit and the grittiness on the armored parts

i wonder if anyone at the lin kuei has ever dared call him ketchup to his face? i feel like frost would, if she had the chance. but thank you! believe it or not, this used to have even MORE layers, but one got scrapped (it looked bad). i decided against doing disappearing shading on this one, because i would genuinely go insane with that amount of work, but it looks quite fine as is. thank you for the textures compliment, i always worry about those the most!

YW It really shows that you've spent a lot of time on it!

I wonder what would happen if a stranger or an enemy called Sektor Ketchup straight to his face. Probably an instant Flamethrower
