Description
A character design for a possible game mod. I'm trying to push the proportions of this character, something I'm not used to doing as I usually opt for a degree of "realism". I must say, it's kinda liberating.Related content

However I don't like his head. Not because there's something wrong with it technically, but just I don't like it. Especially his hair. It makes him kinda... killing machine.
But generally the work is gorgeous!

That armour actually looks very comfy. If he was leaning against a subway car wearing it he could fall asleep with all that neck support!

Great out-of-the-box design! The floral detailing is especially effective. Nice tones introduced into the red armour parts too! Do you find that you no longer labour over particular parts anymore? I know, as I've got better, I can do things without overdoing them.

I hear ya. It's very liberating to be able to do both, in my opinion. I generally keep concept art in the digital world and the more "fine-arty" themes in traditional medium, though maybe I'll end up combining both. I'll post some painting eventually, but it's always a pain to get proper photographs of paintings...

Very Interesting costume design. It pulls off rather well. Although I am afraid that it feels like it would be awkward to walk in.

Yeah, I was definitely going for an over-the-top kinda Elizabethean impracticality with this design. But hell, it's elf metal and is light as a feather (in my head)

Oh didn't know it was an Elf I got the impression that it was an a aristocrat that had, certain tendencies, like laughing with a titter like that one character from that game Suidoiken.
