ok this is a bit embarrassing but for the LONGEST time i thought Melisandre was black! I had already drawn this when I found out so, welp. Anyway, I feel like westeros could use more black people, so here, my black Melisandre!Related content

I actually love the contrast of ebony skin with scarlet robes; while she's not a redhead (and therefore cannot be The Red Woman herself) it's very easy to imagine her as a colleague of The Lady Melisandre!
