I originally envisioned this as a massive amount of 20 or so X-Wings flying over black space. But I got X-Wing fatigue by about the third ship. So I scaled back to 5 X-Wings and added some planets and a nebula. I wanted to copy a bunch of different reference photos of X-Wings. I was thinking I didn't want to copy the exact same reference and have every ship look exactly the same, but the problem I ran into was that the lighting was all different and the shapes and color schemes of the ships were different. I tried to fix the lighting as much as possible.
