How much would you charge for a piece like this? How long to complete?

After about a year of consideration, I can now confidently say that this is my favorite painting. Visual art at it's most powerful!
If it's not too personal, could you give some hint as to what this means/symbolizes? I know what I get out of this image, yet I'm quite curious as to what it's actually about. Peace

Thanks for the compliment. As for meaning, I got the idea while I was thinking about the ways superstitions and religions must evolve. I was trying to help my wife brainstorm ideas to write about. The painting turned out alot different than the original idea I had, but I think it did for the better. Originally I had a guy wearing a fake face on his head so that it looks at the sky, because of his uncertainty about the sky and the menacing things that are in it. Kind of like the moth with a pattern on it's wings that look like eyes so predators think the suprise elements out the window. Anyway, it's probably not anything near what you've gotten from it but that's why I don't include "meanings" with each one, everyone sees it differently and gets there own meaning. I hope I didn't ruin it for you.
