New oc when I've made like only 3 or so this year??? Well.....

Back when I made Calliope, I mentioned that she was the result of her mother being raped when she was just 17. Well, her mother wasn't the only one who suffered the same fate: four other sirens around her age did too.

Of those sirens, one was killed after being raped (and Calliope's "Dad" vanished afterwards and is wanted for murder) and two of the four who got pregnant couldn't deal with having babies so young from such a terrible event, so they killed them after their births.

Calliope's mother, Olivia, chose to keep her child and so when Calliope was born, she embraced motherhood despite all that happened while dealing with trauma from it. Only one other siren who had been a victim of the event kept her baby too-her name was Hali. Hali also gave birth to a baby girl, a baby girl who ended up being Calliope's half sister and best friend in her childhood-Kamali'i.

Kamali'i is incredibly good natured and sweet and tries to see the good in other's before judging them (other sirens I mean) Calliope was a bit of a dreamer as a child and Kamali'i always tried to bring her back down to earth so that they could focus on the tasks at hand.

The two of them adore each other and their mothers very much, but they wish they could do something to give their poor suffering mother's some peace of mind....
