Hermes, the god of travelers and Merchants, and my own Patron god.

The son of Zeus and Maia (a daughter of the Titan Atlas), Hermes was born in a cave on Mount Cyllene in Arcadia in southern Greece. Nursed by the nymph Cyllene. One of the first things he did was go on a little stroll. When he found himself in the pastures of the gods, Hermes impulsively stole 50 cows from Apollo, then still the herdsman of the gods. Though he had been in the world less than a day, Hermes already had a cunning mind. He disguised his tracks by cobbling together “shoes” made of bark from a fallen oak tree. Hermes killed one of the cows and sacrificed the meat to the gods.

Apollo found out and tracked down Hermes and chewed him out. Apollo brought Hermes to Zeus, who thought it was hilarious, and he had Hermes return the cows. While on their way, Hermes won over Apollo by playing the Lyre, an instrument he made out of a tortious shell and cow guts, so Apollo gave him his merchant's wand and Hephaestus was commissioned to make Hermes's winged sandals and hat.

He's now the herald of the gods, the one to bring mortals through the Underworld, and someone who goes with Zeus to Earth. He's also the most busy of all the gods. He's also best friends with Apollo now.
