I just recently get to color this old fanart of mine back when tg:re manga ended www.deviantart.com/mistermedio… .It's just sad what happened to this series. Yes, this is another rant. It's just, i think it didn't get the end, the treatment, it deserve. A new studio to make an anime adaptation that's only goal was to milk the series, really? Maybe that's just the industry for some parts. Even Ishida somewhat gave this one up as to how requiring it got.
Well... this is it.. must be my final tg art from me. Maybe i should just let the series go.

I only know how it ended in manga. In short it got a happy ending, every problem was resolved. After Kaneki defeat with Juzou, Kaneki ate up all the Oggai and become a massive mindless kagune monstosity multi-district long (like bigger than Godzilla BIG). Touka and the rest rescued half-dead kaneki, who later fought Furuta (the mastermind), and Rize, who was revived with the dragon's remain. Then there's a timeskip. CCG and ghouls now work together. Amon and Akira stray off together, as i recall, Mutsuki got over her psychotic love with Kaneki, Kaneki and Touka had their daughter Ichika and is expecting another as shown in vividly drawn pregnant touka(maybe just my imagination).
I'm sure i miss a lot. Prior to this, ishida, the author, wrote a letter on how the tg series become taxing for his daily life, and brought him to end it in this manner. Which is sad, as i'm sure we could have gotten a more intricate end cause it feels all rushed. Then we got that anime adaptation, which the animation looks so fan-made with all the juicy plot cut out, i don't know men.
