I started this a while ago now, but I stopped after my initial sketch because of some bad feedback about it from a friend. :/ Basically they didn't like how I drew him - apparently I made him too good looking? I didn't really see it way (during my sketching process I'm already working out the coloring process in my head, so he wasn't all that attractive to me), but it was enough to throw me off. I kept looking back at it between working on other things but I'd just end up closing it again. It wasn't until I decided that *I* like the style and since I'm really only drawing it for myself then I should do it however I wanted to! ^_^ Well, here it is! What do you think?Related content

I think you did that pretty well actually, even if BJ is a little too "nice" for me as well ;D but i guess it's not easy to draw a not so kawaii guy in a manga style.. You still got his spirit right, this kind of wildness and craziness he has is well captured 
When it comes to BJ it's all about details. You can make the lineart part make him look handsome and then the more mold, veins and all that weird shit he has on his face you add, the creppier he turns out. Also usually he has longer and more uncontrolled hair, but that's just matter of what kind of idea you had for him.

I've really only recently started drawing again & I'm still near-completely new to working with a drawing tablet so most of everything I've been trying is me going, "I wonder what this'll do..." lol

Oh I see. For someone who starts all over again you're doing really well though, it takes time to learn the software and using tablet itself. Haha, I guess that's the best to learn things ;D recently I started doing livestreams where I draw either comic pages or some extra artworks, so maybe it would help you a little bit, idk ;D either way you can feel more than welcome and good luck on the next BJ fanart if you plan anything new already ^3^
