Description

Welcome to the misty jungles of 'Mountain Territories', where you'll have the opportunity to see some of our most brightly colored therapods. Our Majungasaurus live in a small group made up of three males and two females. They have a matriarchal dynamic and the two females 'Yi-ling and Asagao' act as the alphas of the pack.

Food is delivered via our custom built drones that drop their dinner from high above. Thankfully many of the larger therapods arent big jumpers, but just in case, all drones are programmed to particular flight paths that stay out of reach of the dinosaurs. All the carcasses fed to the carnivores are lab-grown and can be tailored to each species depending on their needs.

Guests have the amazing opportunity to get up close and personal through our underground viewing pods that put you right amongst these stunning animals.

This is pretty cool. So long as Majungasaurus are fed, they shouldn't cannibalise each other. It's pretty interesting that in Madagascar, they were their own prey.

Whoa, now that would be intimidating.Β  These guys have been found to be very cannibalistic, haven't they?Β  I'd hate to see them fight over a tiny scrap of meat like that.Β  I like the colors too, but curiously, would they be this bright in the wild?Β  OR would they use more neutral colors like voltures and birds of prey?Β  The blue would make them stand out quite a bit... but then again, this is a more 'captive' setting, so who knows?

Well many large dangerous birds such as the cassowary are this bright so I dont see why not

I'm guessing, based on the description, the 3 males have the red throats and dark snout markings, while the female has just a blue head

Oh this is so good looking, plus it has one of my favorite dinosaurs ever. I love the Majungsaurus, it is one of the most interesting prehistoric predatory animals (IMO better than T-rex, if you say differently I will fite you for it) being that they lived on such a small area of land of the coast of Madagascar. I remember in grade 4 when we had a science project where we had to talk about an animal, I chose theΒ Majungasaurus and this was after watching an episode of a show on discovery Chanel talking about these great beasts.
