Oh, wow! I'd totally forgotten about these books, despite the fact that I really loved them (or rather, the first one. I haven't quite made it to the later installments yet). This is a great interpretation of the characters. Bartimaeus amuses me with his little wings.

I always imagined Nat with darker hair. He's annoying, that's true, but I thought his annoyingness (is that a word?) is kinda sexy. Barty looks very funny here, reminds me of the gargoyles in Disney's Notre Dame.

omg, no nathaniels great. to read anyway, he has a very interesting character arch through the books. kitty's the annoying one, she might have the bad ass thing going on but she's still not as interesting as him. i only love the books cause of him...and barti of course but everyone loves barti.
