And now, for the MHA cartoon boys... Ed Horace, from 'Ed, Edd and Eddy', and his hero self, EdZilla. Based on a suggestion from MelaGirl, his quirk comes from MG's favorite episode from the series, The Day The Ed Stood Still.

Quirk - Kaijalien (fusion of Kaiju and Alien). Ed can turn into a powerful creature that looks out of a monster b-movie, combining reptilian, octopus and insect features. The creature possesses octopus-like tentacles, including suction cups that increase his gripping power; he moves like a large snake, using the tentacles to impulse himself for extra speed; he can hold his breath for long periods of time and swim underwater, again, similar to a sea snake or octopus; the tail is also prehensile and can deliver powerful hits; his saliva is sticky, similar to some insects' silk, and he can use it to immobilize opponents; he gains an extra set of eyes with enhanced vision, plus being able to sense body heat just like a snake. However, when transformed, Ed can only keep control of himself for 30 minutes or less; past this time limit, he becomes a real monster, attacking friend and foe alike, and if he gets too injured he might lose control much faster; when this happens, the only way to turn him back to normal is to cause serious damage to his tail, or knocking him out. Any damage he receives in his monster form will heal once he changes back to human. The transformation is very exhausting, so Ed can't change more than twice a day, and needs to eat massive amounts of food to recover; due to his monster instincts and physiology, Ed will often eat stuff that is considered gross or inedible for most people without ill effects but he still must eat a normal diet for health reasons.

Equipment- Special outfit made out of his own monster form's skin samples, so it doesn't get destroyed whenever Ed transforms, and Ed gets it back when changing back to normal. Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to most of the normal, standard hero equipment, so Ed can't carry communicators, gadgets or similar without losing or destroying them, so he always needs to be paired with another hero to both handle those details and to get sure he doesn't go over his time limit.
