Well I know bison wouldn't but maybe Akuma...... Nah you're right neither of them would follow the rules. Hey I heard Ryu entered.

Chuckie - Yeah... and since he's not a Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network character, it would be a non-championship match that won't affect me if I lose.

Cool, I'd love to see that fight, I would bet against you, but seeming how you took out Sagat like that gives me second thoughts I'm surprised you didn't give him another scar

Chuckie - very true, come to think of it this the first time i fought using Thai-boxing rules and fight methods, the punching with my hands i certainly know, then (for future reference) to remember the punches with elbows and knees plus all the various kicking styles, also the throwing as well, ( the non-illegal types that Thai-boxers would perform in the fight) also, before a Thai-boxing bout, go through some awesome and splendid rituals pre-fight before the boxing starts. essential, and obvious, and a good idea to memorize all that information + make a note of it, so you'd be up to scratch with what makes our sport different from other boxing methods. Sagat points out.

That's why Chuckie went full force from the beginning. He wasn't giving Sagat any chances to use his strongest attacks.

In fact, in the second panel, Chuckie explains it; that he looks already tired despite fighting just 2 rounds because he used his whole strength as quick as possible.

Well, Balrog and Dudley are characters from the actual games, and they use just Boxing, so, if they can defeat Sagat, it's not that illogical.
π: 0 β©: 1
maxvision92 In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2012-03-29 11:37:49 +0000 UTC]
That's a matter of gameplay and story segregation.
Clearly, Balrog can't beat Sagat, plotwise, since he's still the lowest ranked Shadaloo fighter.

Jose-Ramiro In reply to maxvision92 [2012-03-30 06:32:11 +0000 UTC]
Good point... still, in those games, the Boxing characters still give a good fight to battlers who use kicks and chi-attacks.

Good point here.
Still, even martial artists train Boxing. Bruce Lee, for example, did a lot of boxing training when creating his own style (Jet Kune Do - sp?), commenting the direct hits, footwork and exercises were quite effective.

Now here's something I didn't expect to see! Chucky against the walking mountain of muscle known as Sagat! And it looks like Sagat got his ass handed to him! Though he's lucky Chucky didn't cut open his chest with a Shoryuken like Ryu did at the beginning of Street Fighter II: The Animated movie! That would suck for him big time!

So truth.
Chuckie - It's good that I`m a nerd with muscles... I know all the moves from the series, and the physical skills to counter them.

After this fight; Chuckie has been doing some thinking; he wants to try something else: He talks it over with Angelica,he always wondered what it would be like to be a professional wrestler. So he intends to start training for it. He wants to see if his skills he learned in high school and college will work in the squared circle.

Yeah, but most wrestlers have a gimmick. As fellow geek yet hardcore legend Mick Foley [ [link] ] once said, "There are a lot of tough guys & alot of guys who aren't tough try to act tough most of the time", hence why his own hip-and-happenin' swinger personality in Dude Love was the anti-tough guy & the overall weakest of his four personas, often trading places--as far as the speciality of the hardcore match is concerned--with either Foley simply as himself or the Dudester's fellow alter egos in the deranged goof Mankind or king of the deathmatch Cactus Jack. So with that in mind, Chuck will need a gimmick too in order to fit in with the spectacle that is the glorified acting sport of pro wrestling.

Angelica - Mmm... how about, Geek Wonder? Or Super Geek? The most powerful man on Earth despite looking like a nerd.

TherealRNO In reply to Jose-Ramiro [2012-03-13 06:26:32 +0000 UTC]
Well, I know that's not embellishing things, but we got to give the competition some equal footing. For example, we don't want Chuck beating 'Taker at Wrestlemania or anything (the only reasons HHH might is because DX buddy HBK is ref & the fact that he will run the company one day with his wife once Vince keels over or becomes too senile to run his empire effectively), for the Streak is all The Phenom--among the best ever--has left before he retires.

How 'bout...Power Geek? A play on Chuck's geekiness & reference to the term "powerhouse", which represents a powerful wrestlers (ex: literal "World's Strongest Man", Mark Henry).
