We don't often get to see recreations of iconic scenes from Star Trek shows and in this regard the piece has done rather well. Fans of DS9 will instantly recognize the moment in question as a direct homage and a very wonderful one at that.
The ships are wonderfully detailed and the angles are nicely executed. You really feel the impact of the weaponsfire striking the Carassian warship as the Galaxy-class sweeps past it to carry on the fight elsewhere in the battle.
The only criticisms I have to level against the piece is the lighting which seems to be rather bland and not reflecting the apparent light sources. In addition the background of the piece is incredibly dark as well which doesn't help the lighting much.
However overall the piece is rather epic and a wonderful recreation of an iconic moment in Star Trek.

Thank you for the loving words. It makes me great fun to recreate the best scenes of the individual films and series. Therefore, I am very happy that this one, which for me belongs to my favorite scenes, seems to have succeeded. As far as lighting is concerned, I am by no means an expert and I have to practice a lot. I hope it will be better from time to time.
