no, not at all, quite contrary, and i don't mind the flare, it is good, i like flare this way, this is well controlled and adds to the image. what i mentioned about the flash system is that i don't think my 300D (DRebel) would handle this situation that well. or am i mistaken and you have adjusted the lighting manually?

Yeah, I set all my settings manually...
I prefer it that way, i tried experimenting with all the auto settings, but always got frustrated when it didn't come out the way I want
