I grew up on a lot of his movies. I don't know if I'd like them as much today, other than the "Blazing Saddles" which I've seen fairly recently, and still quite enjoyed. But, yeah.

Not necessarily funnier, but at least as entertaining, I would include Silver Streak in the selection of his best films. Β (...and Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother as a movie that almost made the cut).

I honestly shed a tear when I found out about his passing last night.Β Another wonderful person I grew up with, not literally of course, but was in a lot of films from my childhood and earlier years.Β Will forever be the Wako Kid to me.Β
