Soap is not something I'd expect to see in art. Otusdie of the clean up.
Love hte movement to this one, the colors give it a delightfully ominious feel, and the dynamics in the lower left with the red and black are fascinating.

Yes I made this one with a friend last weekend, he came up with the soap idea to make parts of the painting lighter. Which worked awesomely well.
I am working on cover art for a cd a friend is releasing soon and he likes abstract things.....but is very picky so I will try a variety of concepts and perhaps we have a match.

All is well here, how about there?

Have you ever tried doing a mud painting?
We did those when I was still in high school and they were lots of fun :3
That's good to hear ^w^
Eh, fine. Up pretty late as usual, doing a few things on the computer.

Well that's new and different XD
Actually a fair bit involved in the process. She had us go out and collect samples of dirt that varied in color (red clay dirt and such; someone even managed to find golden colored samples), we ground it all down to a fine powder with a mortar and pedestal, and for a binder she suggested we try bleeding the fluid out of egg yolks (which we'd have to dispose of after one day, otherwise it'd turn and start to smell).
I made a really neat painting of a rabbit talking to a squirrel. I was feeling inspired by the Beatrix potter illustrations at the time X3
Dang it I need to find that photo of the painting. I'd left it with my sister as a gift DX

Yeah, or ask my brother in law to snap a photo for me.
We don't visit them much and frankly I don't think I'll be returning to that house for a very long time.

Hmm sounds like a photo is the easiest solution here.
