I was originally not planning on even SAVING it, but... anyhow here we goThis was just practicing, but I think it turned out well, really. I love how surreal it feels to me, and I had a great time making it. Its as close as i can get to what I was planning for it hehe

............Yeaaaa no. to me, it just looks to....ugh, is the only way I can discribe it, at the bottom, the water, looks more like...dirt..and possibly smoke, eye gets drawn to the tree, when it should be the girl that is the focal point....and that black line on the edge of the water (tree root?) looks to out of palce there....I dunno, sorry to say but this just doesn't appeal to me very much, much prefer your other stuff, dissapointed

*snatches her cookie and hungrily devours it* It does have a rather surreal feeling to it, possibly because of the bleak sky. ^^ It fits the idea quite well... the dead tree adds a lot to the whole feel.

This is a great manipulation. I really like the rural themes placed in it. What's especially notable on this piece is the blending job you did on the model in the water. I really like how you incorporated that.

This is really good.. Composition is nice, although I would prefer the tree to be further away so the focus would end up on the lady instead.
Great idea here! The only thing I can see that isn't all to well is the transformation from lady to water.. The reflection is awesome, but where the water really breaks becomes a bit too fuzzy.
Overall, a very nice piece.

Yeha actually theres a lot of things that i would do differently had i actually planned things from the start with this image. however, as i said i was under demands to post it or they would have hung me to dry and then logged in my account and posted it for me hahah
one thing i didnt care for is how much she shows up.. i actually wanted her a little diffused, but the effect of the background came through too strongly, and so i figured ah well may as well just give her the full view

I agree with the saying in the description-so true. The pic is good, really like the girl's reflection, nice touch. The only thing is this, I think the girl is slightly too sharp. She just stands out a little bit too much. You might want to try toning her down just bit. That's just my opinion. Other than that, good job!!

Anyway, very interesting composition you have come up with. The whiteness of the sky gives a sense of 'emptiness', which is further enhanced on how the river seems to go on forever and ever, meeting with the horizon. Love how the girl seems to be wading in the water
