Hmmm, maybe some swamp-ground with grass islands here and there and some dead trees? dunno, but seeing how snakes (at least the ones i know) either live in the desert (but no green ones like this...) or rain forest (the horse-part definitly doesn't fit here XD) or bog (or however it's called) I'd say that's where both animals would be able to live, or at least walk/move best... doesn't really matter anyways, it's all up to you^^

and by the way, the snake/horse is moving like a cobra, coming to you, and still keeping the head high.

it keep it's legs pulled back, like a bird when it flies. or it jumps, like an elasitic or a spring.

Yeah, I acctually love both- horses and dragon/monsters/ whatever in that kind of reptiles,- so combining them together was like natural^^
