Hey guys! ♥I just joined the Esk community and am REALLY excited about it... clearly.
I've been doing free art of Esks for the past few days and I think I did like half of the esks I was given!!
I'm closing that journal now though because ive definitely had my fill.
I dont show you guys my watercolor art very often, which is a shame because im often pretty proud of it.
But as you can see above... the quality is terrible.
I have a pretty crappy phone and the image quality really isnt great, especially on a big computer screen.
But I wanted to post all of these all the less because im really proud of all of them! Im mainly proud that I was able to sit down and finish them all.
I got better and neater with each one, it was great experience.
THAT ALL BEING SAID, could someone help me figure out the AP and GP for these guys... I got a little lost trying to do it myself.
I also am not 100% sure how to lay it out in the description so if you could help me figure that out, thatd be really great!
Any help would be super duper appreciated, thankyou guys for offering your esks and all the warm welcomes!

I love seeing each and every one of these - I'm always so impressed with watercolor since it's so finicky, and yours is so clean and crisp! Really especially impressed with the texture of Loam's tail and Nghu's thyme, and I want to also #appreciate the orange pumpkin Esk's ADORABLE pose.

I'm actually fairly new at watercolor, which is traditionally a pretty 'messy' form of art, but in a beautyiful way.
But I have a really neat style so I decided I wanted that to transfer over to watercolor, wHICH I ADMIT hasn't been easy.
But to get such kind words on something ive been working so hard on, really means the world to me!!

This is amazing! Been wanting to tell you just how much I love this ;W; Nghu looks so graceful and pretty in your style! I am really, really fond of traditional artworks, and this is just so pretty I cant hgngngngn you got his slightly splotchy body-coat so well done, and it looks so good on traditional! I LOVE how you did this thyme, and that chest-fire-marking ahhhh I love it ;W; And I'm also very pleasantly surprised you noticed his red eyes! OH MY GOSH THESE ARE SO GORGEOUS!!! SERIOUSLY I am floored, these just came out of nowhere and WOW!!! I cannot get over how beautiful they are, I adore how you painted my esk!! the little chest fluff and such a wise expression 9__9 <333 Thank you so so much for doing all of these, your style is so perfect for the species. The colouring is so gentle and pretty. I LOVE IT AHHH 
I'm a bit confused though that these are considered minimal background, they seem to match the journal's examples of partial. Many of the minimal background examples are just circle frames with splatter dots on them, many of these seem more complicated than that.

I actually already talked to someone else about the background situation, in the point journal it says
"Any artwork with a scenic background that fills part of the image space with foreground, mid ground, and background."
I think its a bit of a stretch to say that these guys have all that, theyre basically all just foregrounds for the most part, I was keeping them pretty simple.
Some of them could be closer to partial then others, but I dont think its fair for some to be worth more then others so I judged them all to be minimal backgrounds ;v;
BUT since this is the second time its been brought, and im still new to this, up Ill tag witherlings and see what they think. (Sorry for the bother!)

I counted it as minimal to be safe because I really only show the foreground in these guys, and for partial this is what it says-

I LOVE your water color skills you make the quality of them work! honestly I have the same problem when it comes to making them look good online, although yours look amazing as they are! Would to ever want to do a watercolor trade maybe ^^

These are adorable! It's a pity you don't have a scanner, but I'd say they still turned out pretty well regardless.
(Plus that texture is half of what watercolor is about anyway cx)

I WOULD LOVE TO but since I can't scan or take great quality images I don't feel my watercolor stuff is commission worthy if I can't give a good quality image! 😭
