Yeah I'm a bit of a Tremors fan and respect Michael Gross' character.
Fav films go to 1, 2, 3 and 5, and plus the short lived TV series, which I feel was cut short and NOT given a fair chance.
Since a majority of the good quotes have been taken...here's a good one from Back to Perfection:

One of my favorite scenes is from tremors 2 where it shows Burt has mounted the graboids head on the wall of his rec-room.

I also love the bit when he returns to the compound in his now ruined truck and describes how he took out an entire swarm of Screamers, ending, with exasperation: "I am COMPLETELY out of ammo. Β That's never happened to me before."

I loved the first Tremors movie and I dig the first two sequels. I have yet to see the later versions but I hope they're good. Tremors is one of those horror movies that is a callback to classic 50s monster movies Universal did like Tarantula and The Deadly Mantis. Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward are a sweet buddy act but the stand-out is Michael Gross as Burt. Β Plus the practical monster effects are still top notch.

The later ones are a bit more campy than the first one. 4th one if I remember right is set back in the past. Still funny in their own rights.

And supposedly they're making #6 and an Amazon series... which if true will be delightful.
#5 was in Australia and opened up the idea that they're already global and have divergent species. Β Wasn't bad... not great maybe on par with 4, I'd watch it again as a fun dumb monster movie. Β Personal opinion though.
