this is finally finished... i can't believe it....
REALLY IMPORTANT: this is gonna be put on ebay for a charity auction (for south african children) from the 29th of june to the 5th of july.. if you're interested, wait a few days and i'll put the link on the picture and in my journal....
so if you're interested in buying it, watch me, so you'll get the journal update....
it took me ages... i spent so much time on her hair.. i just wanted them to be quite realistic.. i hope i did it...
and i hope i added enought depth to her face...
now, please.. tell me what you think about that..
Used: 2B->7B faber-castell normal pencil, H mechanical pencil, lots of tissue, blending stumps, normal and kneaded eraser, bristol paper

Clearly you've done a great rendition. The most appealing thing it's of course the deep expression of Scully's eyes, and...
yes, oh my that hair... Your hard detailed work sure pops out there, but still the overall piece has an edge wich is not intended to be like, real-real realistic at 100%
Some back lighting could enhance the rich light work, but it's a complete piece as it is already.
Hope you raised good money for the auction, of course.
I understand you're raising it for south african children, although I've heard situation in Congo is worse, hell itself mostly due to strong inner cultural and political/power conflict of interests even between neighborg tribes, and it's nearly impossible to help, even the UN is not welcomed, but sure supporting at least south africa may help the rest of them in some way by introducing the very "presence factor" of aiding.
Education is hardly neede there, even old books, anything to open the mind of those young ones with any kind of chance so maybe one of them may become the one who changes thoase nations.
It could be so easy, if education was there... who knows, they could even live somehow like the amish people, without modern tech but more or less
self-organized and well, or any system with relative quality of life if some sort of education was introduced, so a lot of old absolutist and prejudice behaviours could be changed. A change of culture, not properly like introducing our technological western lore, but just a civilized peace.
Could stare for hours at this piece, but, seems that'll be better to see more from your gallery. It's amazing the kind of works you have for the X Files.

both of them.. i mean: i left parts clearer than other parts and then, at the end of the drawing i cut an erases to have a sharp end and the i add the main highlights..
