I like the whole atmosphere and composition of this painting - and I especially like the ornamental part around it - the one with all those leaves. They are so beautifully shaded! (And I love those little guys ^^. Together with those butterflies)

Did you know this year is the 20th anniversary of when this film came out in Japan? I have watched the japanese version of this film and the one that really shocked me the most was when the deer god got shot by one of the military lady leaders. When I saw that scene, My god, I was speechless. But the soundtrack, wow it's beautiful. Beautiful as The Greatest Game Ever Played, Spirited Away, and Millenial Actress.
