Just a quick painting/sketch for Aimee since she is having a tough day ;u;I think what is beautiful about Marco's character is the reminder that even a small, seemingly unimportant person does matter and adds to our humanity. That's why life is so important, every life that dissapears takes away from the whole, it takes away something that only that person can bring out in others. We are less whole without others. So never disregard your own value

Can't say the thoughts were wholly internal since some quotes from John Donne and C.S. Lewis have been heavily on my mind before I watched Attack on Titan. But I saw a wholly strong connection from the messages of "Whom the bell tolls" and "The Four Loves" and Marco's story.

Some book quotes from John Donne and C.S. Lewis had been heavily on my mind before watching Attack on Titan. So I really couldn't help but see such a strong connection between Marco and the importance of friends, life, and the significance of that loss. It really makes me wonder if that was the authors intentions
